Our recent Holiday Food Drive has been a huge success! Thank you to everyone who donated food, shampoos, health and beauty products, Depends, and other items. A special thank you goes out to the Middlesex Center for Empowerment and the Division of Disability Services for their generous donations! We are so grateful for all of your support this this time of year. Our pantry is now fully stocked with a items, including frozen bacon and chicken. If you are someone with a disability or have family member with a disability and are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact us.
ACI's Winter Fundraiser is back for another season! Just like last year, we will be selling $1.00 snowballs to be hung (with your name) on the ACI snowman or our office window! So if you are in the area, feel free to stop in and buy some snowballs! If you can't get to our office, buy a snowball through our PayPal account and we will hang them for you! All proceeds go directly to support our programs.
The generosity of our donors throughout the year enables us to continue to offer free and innovative programs to people with all disabilities and of all ages, in Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties.
We ask that you remember us on #GivingTuesday. You can donate through PayPal or visit our support page to find out several other ways that you can help! Those who donate $50 or more on Giving Tuesday will received a limited addition NJ Disability Pride Parade t-shirt as our way of saying thanks!
Your contribution will be used to support our existing programs and services such as budget and money management, the ACI volunteer office skills program, instruction on keeping safe and abuse prevention, independent living classes and one on one instruction, work preparation, peer support and health and wellness classes.

The drawing will be held on Friday, May 22nd. The winner will be able to choose any concert held at the Prudential Center from now until the end of 2015! The concert list includes Ed Sheeran, Rush, Barry Manilow, Imagine Dragons, Shania Twain, Kevin Hart and The Who!
This Summer, The Alliance Center for Independence (ACI), is partnering with the Somerset Patriots for their Fundraising Voucher Program! When you purchase an upper box seat voucher, a portion of the proceeds will benefit ACI's recreation programs for people with disabilities.
Each voucher is just $10.00 and can be redeemed at the Patriots box office. Vouchers are good for any 2015 home game (based on availability). Visit somersetpatriots.com/schedule for the schedule.
