Join ACI for an evening of reflection, community, and celebration as we honor the 35th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Disability Pride Month!
We will be screening Change, Not Charity: The Americans with Disabilities Act, a new PBS documentary that weaves together archival footage and interviews to tell the story of the decades-long fight for access that led to the passage of the ADA. The film is directed by Jim LeBrecht (who also worked on Crip Camp) and narrated by Peter Dinklage.
Discussion to follow the screening. Share your thoughts, stories, and advocacy experiences.
Snacks and refreshments will be served.
